IIC STUDENT & EMERGING CONSERVATOR CONFERENCES
aim to create a platform where conservation students and young conservators from around the world, as well as those in related disciplines
and professions, can meet to discuss their aims, needs and expectations.
The conferences allow the next generation of conservation professionals to learn from the experience and advice of professionals and share their plans for the future.
Following on from the successful previous Student & Emerging Conservator Conferences in London (2011), Copenhagen (2011) and Warsaw (2015), we are delighted to announce the fourth conference in Bern. It will be held over two days and consists of moderated panel discussions, studio visits and social events.
The title of the 2017 conference is inspired by the Swiss educational philosopher Joachim Pestalozzi, whose credo of 'Learning with Head, Heart, and Hands' is also very applicable to the conservation profession.
